Bensalem Badasses
That’s the title that I wanted for yesterday but forgot~ Jeff gave me and SK that title. Chyeah :D
So today started pretty meh. I woke up a bit early at 9 and just lazilly watched TV for a while. Finally got around to watching The Producers [it was all right] and just some random stuff that was on. Finally, SK had food and picked me up. Our first destination: Commerce Bank. Everything from here on out made the day awesome.
Commerce Bank-
So in preparation for tomorrow’s NYC trip, SK and I decided to cash in our coins. Since SK was a bit hesistant since he only had a small bag of coins and we didn’t know if there was a processing fee, I put in my bag of pennies. Out my receipt came and it was for 1 dime. out of ALL my 100% pennies, I got a dime. Nice. I went to the lady, she told me to try it again. I put in a small handful of nickels/dimes and a few pennies and this time, it counted all of the nickels/dimes but no pennies. SO! Using my amazing deduction, I concluded to the lady that it wasn’t eating my dimes. So she goes over and checks the machine and apparently it wasn’t working properly because it was getting dirty.
So she fixes it and [I guess to compensate for me standing and waiting there for nothing] she puts alllll the change that wasn’t taken and “gives” it to me. So instead of a few dollars of pennies, I got 33 dollars :D I put in my bag of dimes/nickels and quarters and that ended up to be about 100 dollars. Nice haul! SK got 26 dollars D:
Afterwards, SK concluded that we just robbed Commerce Bank :) But whatever~ So then, we decided to hit up Oxford Valley Mall since we had some time left before work.
Oxford Valley Mall-
So on the way, we decided to take Route 1 to get there. Well we kinda missed where we were supposed to turn, so we took random turns but we eventually got there! So when we got there, we noticed that there were a bunch of people standing outside and fire trucks and ambulances. As we walked towards the mall, we were told that the mall was closed. And that was it. Soooo we decided to go to Circuit City since we had like half an hour left before work. Hmph.
Circuit City-
Wheee I geeked out. Why? $70 80GB Portable Hard drive :)!! I didn’t wanna splurge the money since it was for NYC, so I decided to get it laaater. I ended up buying a Wii Nunchuk though. Yay.
Work-
Not many guests. A few angry guests because no Sunny Day. SK and I talked to Jeff and Mark [supervisors] about video games for a chunk of the end of our shift which was cool. Jade made the office a Winter Wonderland by sprinkling the stuff from the 3-Hole punch in the office all over the place :D And on the white board she wrote “Blizzard of ‘07″ :D
NYC TOMORROW! WOOO!
